Sick of Going to the Same Restaurant’s? Try These!

Las Vegas has had thousands of restaurants come and go in it’s 11 decades, but there are still many notable restaurants that have survived the decades and are still serving customers to this day!

Check out this list of popular restaurants that were established in Las Vegas, as early as 1948:

–Hitchin’ Post Saloon (est. 1948): Quaint bar and eatery in North Las Vegas, open 24/7 serving a full menu of American classics, and a bar menu for late night snacks.

–Bootlegger Italian Bistro (est. 1949): Serving classic Italian dishes near the south strip, and live entertainment with an old-school feel.

–Bob Taylor’s Ranch House (est. 1955): A favorite of many, this is the oldest steakhouse in Las Vegas. Serving up juicy steaks in North Las Vegas, with cowboy memorabilia lining the walls of the restaurant.

–The Golden Steer Steakhouse (est. 1958): A classy steakhouse known for serving Elvis, the Rat Pack, Muhammed Ali, and many more legendary celebrities throughout the decades. Offering a full menu of steak, seafood, and wine right off the Strip.

–Italian American Club Restaurant (est. 1965): Starting as a social club, the Italian American Club has grown into a club, restaurant, lounge, and ballroom! Offering a restaurant and lounge to the public, this restaurant serves authentic Italian dishes with live entertainment that will have you coming back for more.

–Top of Binion’s Steakhouse (est. 1965): Another great steakhouse offering beautiful panoramic city and mountain views, located on the 24th floor of the Binion’s Gambling Hall and Tower in Downtown Las Vegas.

–Osaka Japanese Bistro (est. 1967): Featured on the Food Network, Osaka Japanese Bistro was the first Japanese restaurant to open its doors in Las Vegas. Known for their beautiful and authentic sushi rolls!

–Peppermill Restaurant and Fireside Lounge (est. 1972): Located along the Strip, the Peppermill Restaurant is known for their neon lit lounge that has appeared in many popular movies. They offer a full menu of American bar classics, and tons of unique drinks all with a great atmosphere sure to make great pictures!

–Hugo’s Cellar (est. 1973): Beautiful brick-lined restaurant known for their romantic setting, and lavish meals. Located in Downtown Las Vegas, Hugo’s Cellar is the perfect place for your next date night!

–Farm Basket (est. 1973): A fast-food restaurant known for their turkey and chicken sandwiches. A Las Vegas locals favorite, home of “Gobblers” (a fried turkey sandwich with Miracle Whip and cranberry sauce on the side), and “Clucketos” (rolled chicken tacos).

–El Torito Cafe (est. 1975): A family-owned restaurant serving traditional homemade Mexican cuisine in Henderson. All recipes and sauces are homemade and have been handed down by the family’s grandmother who originated from Mexico!

–Doña Maria’s Tamales (est. 1980): Known for their famous tamales, Doña Maria’s Tamales serves up authentic Mexican food at two locations in the valley, Summerlin and Downtown Las Vegas.

–Aloha Specialties (est. 1984): Located within the California Hotel and Casino, Aloha Specialties has been serving up authentic Hawaiian specialties since they opened their doors in ’84.

–Coffee Pub (est. 1984): For all California raised residents, a longtime California breakfast and lunch restaurant offering an outside patio.

–Bagel Cafe (est. 1996): Established by a couple from Long Island, New York, the Bagel Cafe offers authentic NY homemade bagels, sandwiches, and desserts.
